Hope

I'm extremely unsure with how this turned out. I basically had a moment where I understood that no matter what happens, as long as I've given my all to get what I want...whether or not I receive it matters little in the end, as that end result is far better than not not trying and never knowing what could have happened. So I made an analogy of sorts that really doesn't need the first sentence...but I felt it gave the rest of my quote a bit more relevance.

Anyway, this is my mind's eye picturing of hope. A beam of light in the darkest of times, the seed that grows into a beautiful and comforting tree of knowledge and memories.
